Why aren't you doing that you are supposed to be doing to build your business?
Are you afraid of looking bad, looking stupid, making a mistake?
Being afraid to fail is actually not what you are worried about…
You are not afraid of failing, you are afraid of someone seeing you fail.
WOW, did a lightbulb just go off?
You are afraid of looking stupid…after all, isn't that why we don't want to tell people that we are involved in a home business in the first place?
I know for me that is why I didn't tell anyone when I got started.
So the questions is….
What is more important to you?
The fear of what others might think?
Changing someone's life?
You can't have both.
There are so many people out here that have the ability and skills to change the world, but because they are so afraid of someone making fun of them, they crawl into their shell and do nothing.
I should know.
I started to market online.
I did a lot of videos.
Then I started to see some success. Then I started to get hate mail….strangers would make fun of the way I talked, the way that I looked.
People called me a scam.
I quickly learned that I was not the problem, they were.
Little did they know that my goal was to make a difference in someone else's life.
And I have.
I have people texting and emailing me how much I have inspired them. And it is because of me that they truly believe that they will walk across the stage at their company event.
I had another woman come up to me at an event and thank me. I was on an MLSP call that she had listened to a few years before and on the call I shared my story and how I struggled and thought about quitting the industry (Don't we all about 1000 times?). But, because I didn’t quit, I was able to achieve success.
She said after that call, she decided to give it one more shot.
She then started earning $15,000 per month.
Talk about a life changer!
That is how I want to inspire people.
Trust me, when you get people walking up to you and saying things like that to you, you quickly realize that this business isn't just all about the money.
This is about making an impact is someone's life and making a difference.
This is about helping someone get caught up with their bills.
This is about helping out a laid off baby boomer that is finding it very hard to get a job.
This is about helping you.
So the next time that you question yourself whether you should create a video or blog post….think again, because it is completely selfish if you don't.
Because you could say one little thing that changes someone's life.
See, you didn't know the power that you have inside you now did you?
Now, get to work! 😎
